Imation Corp's Newly Acquired Brand "Memorex" Makes Entrance at Singapore IT Show 2007

SINGAPORE (March 1, 2007) - Imation Corp’s (NYSE:IMN; a worldwide leader in removable data storage media) newly acquired brand “Memorex” is making an entrance in Singapore IT show 2007. Memorex and Imation are both U.S-based companies and storage leaders in their respective areas. Memorex, a portfolio brand and division of Imation Corp, is the U.S. premier brand and market-share leader in optical media and media accessories at retail; while Imation is the strong data storage technology company.

The Memorex portfolio contains a comprehensive line of storage products spread across four product categories: “CD & DVD media”, “USB flash drives & cards”, “Optical, magnetic and mini hard drives” and “Accessories”.

Memorex products will be added to the existing Imation portfolio and Imation will take both brands to market. Memorex CD and DVD media will be available at leading IT and stationery shops in such as Popular Bookstores,  Challenger, Harvey Norman, Carrefour, Giant, Best Denki etc.

Memorex media will also be sold at booths 6301, 6101 & 6131 in Singapore’s IT show (8 – 11 March 2007) at Suntec City Exhibition Centre. Besides special price, shoppers enjoy free 4pc GP AA Ultra Alkaline Battery (worth $4.50) with every purchase of Memorex DVD±R media spindle (25pc, 50pc & 100pc spindles). In addition, with any purchase of Memorex product during the show, shoppers stand to win great prizes including the grand prize of a LG 19” LCD monitor and movie passes.
